Daily Narrative    The day began at the oddly named Humbug Mountain State Park in southern Oregon.  Anxious to get to Theresa's childhood friend Michelle's home in Newberg, we rocketed northward through Coos Bay, past the Oregon Dunes near Florence, through the world's smallest navigable boat harbor Depoe Bay, heading inland at Lincoln City.  We arrived mid afternoon, a day and a half late, and Theresa spent the rest of the afternoon catching up with her childhood buddy Michelle.  Brian listened politely.  Eventually Michelle's husband Alan, a computer dude at Nike, came home and Brian got in some quality techno-babble.  After a much appreciated Mexican meal out, we returned to Alan and Michelle's enjoyed a little late night volleyball called it an evening.
